One whole year gone by....

Wow, a whole year has passed since my last entry. A huge one was some news we got shortly after my last post. One of our kids was diagnosed some pretty serious stuff and we thought we were infor the fight of our lives. BUT, in a very unlikely scenario, the diagnosed was changed by the IWK (something that doesn't happen often) and we were relieved to say the very least. Despite the whole experience, we were so glad to have the IWK in our lives during this time. Whenever you have a chance to give to them, please do. They mean so much to so many families and we were very fortunate to have things turn out as they did. They are all incredible people and we had not one bad thing to say about them.

I'm still doing the radio thing and the voice overs are still going good. I'm now able to record from home with some pretty good results considering what I have to work with and the client is happy. I have two Midland Transport TV spots under my belt and I am getting ready to start looking for more clients.

New windows and flooring in the house have happened. The flooring was truly a trip in self-discovery. I put together new cuss word combos and was told I was never heard of being so angry before. But, with the help (yes, help is good when doing this the first time) of my wife we managed to get it all down before my youngest's birthday party. Oh yeah, and a new puppy who has managed to pee and poop on most of it. He's a good dog but I wish he would time his bodily functions to when we are actually supposed to be awake.

My sister is coming home from Naples, Itlay where she was posted with her family and is starting a new job with a very exciting startup in Freddy Beach. I can't wait to see her again and I am sure this is the beginning of some very exciting career stuff for her. Its well overdue and well deserved.
